Peck's Rainbow Banquet Hall is a wonderful facility located in Altona. We've rented the GOLD Room for our 2010 SPRING SPORTSMAN'S show - it seats 800 for sit-down dinners! There is ample (and free) parking right outside the building - we encourage you to move your vehicles away from the entrance once unloaded so that customers have room to navigate. Please note: reservations are limited, so book early. They are accepted on a first come, first paid basis. (The booths are located on the "outdoorsman gifts & gear side of the room - the 8x9 booths fit 2 eight foot tables or your display, and the 8x12 booths fit 3 eight foot tables or your display.) No refunds will be issued once accepted by us as a vendor, and any vendor not set up by 9 a.m. on Saturday morning will forfeit their tables to whoever we can fill them with - unless you call and make other arrangements. Also note: we are looking for a particular feel for this show, so not all vendors will be accepted. The primary focus is all about guns/hunting/ammo/shooting/archery/skeet/fishing/hiking/knives, with a secondary focus on the many other outdoor sports, Adirondack cabin style decor, wildlife artwork and other gifts for the outdoor/wildlife lover. We're looking for quality - the Adirondack rustic feel... we don't wish to offend anyone, but we will be choosy with our vendors. Vendors are encouraged to send us their website addresses and pictures for our vendor page - it’s free advertising! They will also be listed in newspaper ads before the show. We're working with a wide variety of advertising to make this show a success for all - inluding online postings, WOKO radio spots, plugs by Dennis Aprill in Outdoors Magazine and the Press-Republican & posters everywhere! Complimentary nibbles will be available Friday night at the end of set-up time, which is from 3-8 p.m. Peck's bar will be open for business as well. Click on the Hotel link at the top of this page for local restaurant information. There will be complimentary coffee, orange juice and cinnamon buns for vendors each morning. Peck's will have food and beverages available for purchase during show hours. We will have overnight security! Admission is $3 - All paying attendees will have a random chance at several door prizes offered by vendors. Each paid entry gets attendees a free ticket for the rifle raffle, and tickets will be sold at the door for more chances - proceeds to be donated to the Altona Volunteer Fire Department. Remember: FFL and NY State Laws regarding gun purchases requires background checks prior to purchase - a phone will be available to vendors to conduct these if they don't have cell phone service. Notices will be posted throughout the facility regarding background checks and gun safety. CHECK OUT OUR WONDERFUL VENDORS FREQUENTLY - THEY WILL BE POSTED AS THEY CONFIRM! |
